Re: [Staff][Demo] Metroid Infinity
Well, I made all 6 'items' obtainable now, you have to go get the gun and morph ball, gun before morph ball. I have decided on just 2 or so maps, outside ship and underground, just different times that will have different landscapes, I will just need to find some good vars for all the tiles and such...

[Staff][Beta] Pixel Fight!
Ok, anyone who has been on irc in the past 2 days or so, or when I was often on IRC may have heard of this, a little pet project of mine to create a BASIC fighting game with a decent AI, and it works out well. Basically all I have right now (if this version is the one I think it may be) is 4 charact...

I hate to say this... But get an old Power Macintosh, check in the back, you pull a 60% chance of it having S-Video in and AV in. I know out of my 4 Power Macs, 3 have it :) and all you do is have something record the signal. But that is completely impractical. I might suggest getting a cheap old PC...

Yeah, Windows on NTFS tends to do that. However Windows on Fat32 is far worse off, so I would rather take the NTFS issues over the Fat32 ones anyday. And imo, Mac OS, in any form, is a specialized market. If you are used to Windows, then in my experinces, you won't 'love' Mac OS. And for anyone that...

PCMCIA MTD-0002
Ok, I have a fancy Compaq TC1000, but it appears to have the very awesome issue with CF and PCMCIA cards that some do, that is, I insert certain PCMCIA or CF cards or devices, well, it comes up as "PCMCIA MTD-000x" on my device manager, where x is 0, 1, or 2. And I really want to know if t...

ANYWAY. I would get 1gb of RAM, but the motherboard supports 768mb max, and I don't even get to use all of it because the Crusoe proc uses some RAM for it's CMS. If anyone knows any other CMS systems for the Crusoe to emulate other procs at the same time, it'd be nice, cool really. Also, Windows XP ...

So. In case anyone cared as to why I originally made this thread. The TC1000 arrived today, and it does everything I expected it to, and more, so I am am happy. It's running XPTE2005 [ in otherwords, the newest version of XPTE ] and it flies, should be better with 768mb of RAM whenever I get it. But...
