Re: Robot War: Project Darkstar
I started converting it to an app and then sort of left it, apart from deeph and myself no one really seemed too anxious to see it come out so i got sidetracked with other projects. I'll get back to it soon enough, it's my first time dealing with a multi-page app so it'll be good practice and beside...

Re: Robot War: Project Darkstar
Well after that week i kinda got busy with "other things" ;) I started porting it to an app but it's currently not in a stable state, gotta fix all the SMC and other things that got broken in the transition, though i did build myself a nice 5kb buffer in RAM to play with. I think in a mont...

Re: Robot War: Project Darkstar
Yeah, it really is amazing! I never got to play it on the 82 unfortunately, so i'm playing it as i go through :) I've already come across a few bugs which i'm not sure if it's my code or if they were present in the original, i have a feeling it's me though  There have also been quite a few cra...

Re: Robot War: Project Darkstar
Alright, so i'm crossposting from Omnimaga: I've gotten a good amount worked out (or at least it seems that way to me!). There're still a lot of things i haven't tested, i dunno if anyone wants to go through the game and find things that are broken or not. The file is too large to fit into RAM, this...

[TI ASM 82->83+] "Temporary" memory on the 82?
Hey, it's me again :D I'm trying to port a game from the 82 to the 83/+ but am having a little trouble with some of the ROM_CALLs. I've found names/descriptions to most of them thanks to the sng include file, but i really don't understand what the difference is between the _MEM routines and the _TMP...

Re: Bell release v0.2!
Yeah, in France they have the TI-82 Stats.fr which is essentially a French-localized 83 (do they even sell 83s anymore?), i don't think there's any other difference.

Re: Post Your Internet speeds
Yeah, though it's faster than the landline cable i had before they cancelled it. It was slower than dial-up was back in the day (or maybe sites are just that much larger now), usually taking well over a minute (that is, over 60 seconds) to load forums or simply timing out.

Re: Robot War: Project Darkstar
I know i'm like, six years too late, but i've wanted to play this game for... 6 years! I never actually got my 82 hooked up with games and now don't even have one to try it out. Digi, i know you were still around last year working on Robot War 2, though since UTI went under i don't know if you're st...

Re: So... what happened?
Hey Timendus, it's nice seeing you around these parts again :) I always planned to look into linking but never got far enough into any of my projects for it to be worthwhile. Like you said, i'm sure when i do finally release them people will have to play my games through an emulator on their smartph...
