It took me a while to realise what my nic could be interpreted as, but it had already stuck. It just sounds cool, I guess.

I played the demo, it was unbelievable! On the smal screen the gfx look almost as good as GC. They had two DSes set up next to each other at EB, and I played wirelessly with a friend! I personally love the stylus control, it's almost like a mouse- which in my opinion is the best type of control for ...

I revamped the collision detection engine, the screenshots didnt show it in effect but it was fairly slow before. Now it's about three-quarters as fast as the screenshots, whereas before i was about a quarter as fast. Now I'm beginning work on the biggest eye-candy yet; overhead sprite masking. This...

Trust me, it's actually much more visible on-calc, except for the blurring when the sprite is in motion (can't be helped, it's because of the masking.) As to how I did the masking, I used Omnicalc to OR the mask to the screen, then XORed an inverted sprit, so then the sprite is inverted over the mas...

I prefer those sprites to Sam's, the smaller size and vertical scrolling allows for more action to be shown on screen at once. In general I think it looks truer to Mario. Awesome work, exactly what we expect from a master like Duck!

Well, this has been kindof on a back burner for a while: I was planning to wait until I had better command of asm, but I don't seem to be able to hold my interest in it. Now, however, I think I have the skills to do most of what I wanted to do in Basic. So here's my latest project, (Ender's Game is ...

I was (I think) in the top five for post counts on the last forum, with over 1200. I guess I'm addicted, but I like to think we're a community of friends, and it's normal to hang out with your friends a lot, right?

I tried the Metroid Hunters DS demo at EB, they had two DSes set up and I played over wireless with a friend! I wasn't sure how good the stylus would be, but it's almost as good as amouse in first-person games on pc! I've never liked using a c-stick for looking in 3d games, it's not precise enough, ...

I'd put a small line for each energy tank next to a number representing the energy in the current tank (partially erase an energy tank icon if it's empty) , a small missile icon and a number for missiles (I'm thinking a Fusion-style missile upgrade system would be best, rather than having to switch ...

I've had issues loading Reuben Quest, but the demo thing ran sweet on my regular 83. It should be acceptable.
