Re: Super Smash Land: Look at those pixels fly!
The physics remind me a lot of your Robot War game. Should we be holding our breath?

Re: This site is almost dead
A little late, but thanks Xeda. The project is on temporary hold as i don't have a computer to program it from, but who knows if one of these days i'll pick back up my work on it. For me, the most interesting part is the programming. It's far harder for me to STOP programming than to continue ;) If ...

Re: This site is almost dead
What have you been up to King Harold? And DJ: I never knew there was a Dutch board, where was it? Back in the day it seemed there were a ton of incredible Dutch-speaking programmers, more Dutch-speaking than English-speaking people around. It made me want to learn Dutch. Actually, i'd still like to...

Re: This site is almost dead
I've never really gone over to Cemetech being somewhat biased i suppose from late 90s/early 2000s events, though i have to admit that Kerm has a ton of amazing projects and is easily a far better programmer than i am :D I just hope you enjoy what you do. I've been spending time lately working on a s...

Re: This site is almost dead
I just read through your 3D engine sub forum a few days ago, it looks beautiful! As i had to look up the equation to the Pythagorean Theorem the other day i think i'm still a ways off from being able to pull something like that off :P By the way, what sort of work do you do (if you don't mind me ask...

Re: This site is almost dead
Is anyone still around? I'd like to talk (or read) about a few game programming concepts like object/event handling but everywhere seems pretty quiet these days.

Re: Desolate Re-write
I think the size of the font is as much an innovation as the reflections! It's so small, but somehow you can still read it... It looks amazing tr1p!

Re: [Staff][Dev] 8-level Grayscale Routines
I wish i could say for certain, but I haven't got a GraphLink cable that works with my laptop (i finally found my old black link, but i don't have any serial ports!). I tested it out on PindurTI and, after turning the contrast up a bit, the 83 version looked just as good as the 83+ (PindurTI doesn't...

Re: [Staff][Dev] 8-level Grayscale Routines
That looks really nice! I wouldn't have noticed the rolling in the tilemaps at all if it weren't for the first picture, which made me look for it in the others. Is there anywhere online where calc84maniac has showcased their experiments in 8-level greyscale? EDIT: Also, i've never used IRC much, but...

Thanks for that link! I thought it might be something along those lines (stored on page $27), although Spencer mentioned that it is different in each ROM and i've only got one ROM version to test it out (1.12). I think the bcall Spencer and Benryves mentioned is probably a better alternative (or jus...

Wait a minute... You can draw the big font to the graphbuffer easily just by using some other argument to vputs To draw the large font: set fracDrawLFont, (iy+fontFlags) then call vputs. Source: TI83+ SDK Guide I came across that too, and i only played with it for a little bit but it didn't seem to...

[TI ASM] Port $06 and the TI FONT
Ok, so i was trying to figure out where TI stores the sprites for it's large font, as i can't really think of any other way to draw the large font to the graphbuffer or some other place to play around with it before displaying it to the screen. Well, after a long day spent inside PindurTI's dissasse...
