yeah, i actually made a game that was completely playable very similar to the game you are talking about. it was in assembly and allowed two players to link up and shoot at each other. it even had ammo pickups and powerups etc. it had a problem with the link routine that I could never work out... oc...

this is amazing spencer. the level of commitment you have reached towards this game astonishes me, and as a fellow programmer I know what kind of time requirements developing such a sophisticated map takes. how long did it take for you to map out that town?

if you ask me, nintendo controllers have continually gotten more and more comfortable (as long as you don't mind the gameboys): nes = like holding a brick snes = like a sculptured brick n64 = amazing except for those few games that tried to use the control pad and the joystick (rainbow six) gamecube...
