Re: Hello All

That sounds like a cool project. What kind of use, of course to move the robot, but care to elaborate?

I'm not programming help, but I'll do what I can! :D

Re: z80.. might be another pointless thread

Looked up one microcontroller kit, then I got side tracked on what all you can do with those things, it makes not appear so intimidating. I believe it was the ATmega168. Not too bad for a kit price, well without me looking at more than that one kit it seemed reasonable. Had a screen, controller chip...

What is this you're working on?

Looks like it would make a nice map.

Re: z80.. might be another pointless thread

Again, I know a simple search would easily find me the asnwers. I believe I came across a forum where someone was talking with you, or searched for something about your z80. Actually they were going on about the SymbOS, and seeing about the possibilities of running that on something designed similar...

Re: Dead forums (lively thread)

I'm slowing restoring an old BMW. So really just do much needing maintenance, and replacing worn out parts. I bought it back in October of last year, needed a cheap car, and it has just turned into a long term project. I think I'm going to attempt my had at building a z80 computer. I'll have to crea...

z80.. might be another pointless thread

Anyway. I'm not sure if it's the z80 based ti calculators, or something else, would be a good thing to use what I'm wanting. I'm wanting to learn the way processors, well computer based hardware, actually function. Reading books, meh. Hands on, maybe even building a z80 or similar type of computer. ...

Firefox..

I'm thinking only one person might read this. But I'll give it a go 8) Anyone else have problems with Firefox 3.6? Using about 50% cpu, and ton of ram? For a while I didn't have any problems.. then last night 3.6 started freaking out and treating my computer like a 386. Dumped it and used Chrome, wo...

Re: Dead forums (lively thread)

I'm sticking to projects.. just nothing that involves my calc anymore. My current project has four wheels. Its been an adventure so too. Never gets old for me working on a car, well anything for that matter. Looking at your site, just guessing its yours but I think I'm right, you seem to be quite el...

Re: Dead forums (lively thread)

I've made a habit of checking in every 6 few months. I remember back in high school how this was the only web forum that wasn't blocked.

.. I get this feeling no one is listening

Well with ordering online, it really isn't that bad. I had the same fear with ordering online until I actually bought something online (my computer parts) and it was fine, no problems. Have you ever ordered off the internet? I think that most of the time the prices are so much better online even wit...

$65, ebay, 6 gig mp3 player. It uses 4 AA, and runs about 3.5 hours. But it is really nice. You will probably fill up the 1 gb of space on that thing in no time. If your someone like me (3 gb worth of music), but then you may never fill it up to its max. I say do some more shopping and find somethin...

I tried Opera some time back, and I hate the way the interface is layed out. Just not done good in my pov
