A: We do not tolerate talk about roms or any other illegal software. Threads with this content will be closed or deleted.
Downloading Roms is illegal. By posting information about ROMS, and how to get them, you make yourself illegal aswell. You will be held responsible for any sues.
If you want to get VTI running, use the ROM dump wizard of VTI. If you don't have the calculator, than you are not allowed to have the ROM either. It's that simple.

If you have access to a couple of resistors and an LED you can make a blacklink cable very easily.

Failing that, I think TiLP can dump ROMs. However, the fact that you're using a crazy USB cable (why oh WHY TI did you have to do that?!) appears that you're using a newish calc and probably a recent OS. VTI will only support up to OS 1.12, so you'll have to downgrade.

If need be, I have an 1.12 OS file (NOT a ROM image). You would have to install it to you calculator then dump it back off, I'm afraid.

OS 1.12 can be found here: http://www.benryves.com/bin/OS112.zip

(I downloaded that from the TI site ages ago, I don't know if they still keep old OS upgrades on their site. Note that this file is useless on its own, it's not a ROM dump).

That said, I don't know if OS 1.12 runs on an SE, or just the regular 83+.

It won't, the hardware is different. The flash paging is won't work with it, plus the many other ports that need to be initialized.

Edit: I mean for the 1.12 on an SE.(need to think before I type:) )

Man TILP can be hard to install. The last time I tried, it didn't work AND I lost TI Connect. You can always try TI Flash Debugger, which doesn't require a ROM, and is better in mny ways: except for such things as keypress detection, greyscale and sound, Flash Degubber is a better emulator. It's faster, supports archive, and is smoother.

Yes, but for me, it seems to corrupt your programs if you call a copy of them with flash gordon. I've been running my program to get some animated screenshots but it always runs into an error that recreates itself everytime I fix it in the debugger.

Haha, not if you use an 83+. For some reason it runs slightly faster than an 83+ when you emulate an SE, but runs like utter crap if you emulate an 83+.

I think you can use the .clc file from flash debugger to a certain extent.
You know your hexadecimal output routine is broken when it displays the character 'G'.

DID NO ONE READ THIS POST!!!

But the CLC files are basicly rom images, but you should use them only with falsh debugger. (for legal reasons)
