Thats right, i bought a TI-84+SE from someone in the USA off eBay for $5 because the LCD was shattered. I managed to get it to link and you will never guess what is installed on it ... Desolate rofl! .
I found it quite amusing to recieve a calc from half-way across the world with some software on it that i made .
"My world is Black & White. But if I blink fast enough, I see it in Grayscale."
hmm, yeah, maybe you can send it to TI and they will repair it for a cheap amount of money... uh WAIT, the title says a TI-84+!! I didnt noticed it until now. I am wondring if I could get at least $0.50 by selling my 3.5 years old TI-83+ with busted link port and a omnimaga logo in front of it?
You know it might not be totally useless. Doesn't the 84 have hardware that makes it work with TI presenter. You could find one and maybe have a useble calc.
Hmm, just wondering: if you cant seem to manage to do something useful with the 84+ I was wondering if you could do stuff like replacing some of your TI-83 buttons with those of the 84+, not all of them since the APP button doesnt exist on the 83 but maybe it would look cool if they are the same size. Or maybe you could replace your TI-83 cover with the TI-84 one, I am wondering if this would be doable and easy to do?
