Which ASM editor do you use for programming your z80-files?
Does a good one with coloured "ld" or sth else exist?
Tell me!

Crimson editor has syntax highlighting for .z80 files. It's a good editor

ConTEXT is what I use, it too has a highlighter for z80 assembly files. With my customized batch files, I can assemble a program in any folder I want to by pressing F11. I also have F12 set to transfer the .8xp that is created in the folder to the calc.

SciTe is what I use. It's opensource and small and fast...it's all you need! Color coding for 200 languages and linenumbering. The only thing that would be nice was an instant compile.

The debian package of SciTe doesn't have a specific z80 color scheme, but a generic assembly one. At that price I'd rather use nedit that seems lighter.
I have made a z80 coloration file for kwrite/kate, it is on my website (see my sig).

Crimson Editor as well, but I rarely use any features besides the syntax highlighting, and sometimes the file tree. I checked SciTe for Windows, and it also only has the Assembly syntax, no specific z80. Maybe they have something extra you can download.

For me colorcoding has no use. I only use it to brighten up the IDE a bit.

Crimson Editor, and VIM
I wrote a VIM syntax script for z80 that makes syntax highlighting nice.

TextPad all the way!
(to clear any potential confusion, TextPad is NOT notepad.)

You know your hexadecimal output routine is broken when it displays the character 'G'.
