Suggestions for forum/website

I noticed that Kerm Martian managed to show the last topic where somebody posted in in each forum section on his new PHPbb forum like on Ikonboard and IPB so it look like this

Just take a look: http://cemetech.designerz-core.com/forum/

I was wondering if you could mod the forum code so we can know which topic have been updated the most recently like on the old MaxCoderz forum :) ?

Also on the front page I noticed that the link section is pretty much out of date (most links no longer works). You should update it too:
-calcnews.net is shutting down
-Greenfire, TI World and The Calc Site no longer exist anymore
-Macross Software is now located at : http://www.macrosssoftware.org
-You should also add links like the Calcwebzine, Revsoft, EPS, and many other ones :)

Guest posting always makes me uneasy. And some of their postings have been......less than informative...

March 21st...
somebody wrote:THIS IS MY UBERAWESOME AND VERY MESSED UP GAME!!!!
January 10th...
before that, someone wrote:i got up to 96 then i quit. that was like 4 years ago though.
February 19th...
after that, someone else wrote:cause that would definatly be great if not ever try playing the gb game mario and 6 golden coin there was prbly like 70 levels it was orignaly in black in white instead of feather you got a carot and bunny ears whichis sorta like tail in smb3 minus run jump and fly but you can kinda hover for a while but you drop eventualy
My diet consists of nails, code-stealers, and HP fans.

maybe if guest were forced to enter a name when posting it would be better. Or maybe MaxCoderz staff could completely disable guest posting but put a special forum where guest can post when they casnnot register or have pb logging in

I quite like guest posting on other forums especially when it comes to calculators some people won't want to register an account for just one question. So it prevents alot of empty accounts.

agreed, on casiocalc we didnt allow it for the longest time, and as a result we have ~200 1 or 0 time posters :(

guest posting can be anoying... but it drives admin nuts to see empty user accounts filling up the member list (well.. me at least)

I've updated the link page with some of the links provided.

I also want to add z80 revelation but only when someone can tell me what they're all about.

And EPS could you make a linkpage to so you can put us and many other sites on it?

Yeah that would be cool to have a link page. I also asked if they could add a news page too (maybe we could be conglomerated by ti-news too?) but nothing much happened since then, that was two months ago if I remember :(

*goes bashing EPS site managers so they work again on the website*

EDIT: Oh, and no you didnt spelled my name right :) (Kévin Ouellet, not Kevin Quellet) and why did you removed calcgames.org?

Thanks for thinking of us, Kozak. :D Well, were a programming group....umm...i don't know what else to say. :P By the way, where is the Maxcoderz "link" page? Because I don't see it on the main page...

Kevin: thanks for putting z80 Revelation on Onimaga.
A bit like UnitedTI too, but only for the TI-83+ and more inactive.
I hope were not too inactive.... :P

hmm, Kozak or anyone else: stupid myself! I gave you a not working link for Macross software, however when I tried the good one (which is http://www.macrosssoftware.com/ ) it was saying that the account was suspended. Feel free to do what you want with the link
