I think he means a width of 8 and a height of 12. Actually In omnicalc you are limited to 8x sprite width because 1 byte=8 bits or something like this (or vice versa) but you can use a sprite height of any pixels (1,2,3,4,5,45,58,62,etc)

8x12 sprites would be cool

Not really a project...should be in the offtopic section or programming help since you are asking help on a program.

8x12, that is what I would go for. :D

Have you got any samples for us to look at?

an 8x12 sprite with 8 as the height would also be cool (if you OR the sprite to the screen like phoenix, you can just have it be 8x16 with 4 columns blank)
just try to be nice to people.

8x8, 16x16 is just way too big for the small calc screen imo.

I was referring to the other choice in the poll. 16x8 (16 width) is okay, but 8x16 (height 16) is too big, that's already 1/4 of the height of the screen.

It's impossible for me to say without some kind of concept picture. But as a general approach, I try to keep all the sprites in my game the same size. If your other sprites are 8x8, go with that. If they are 16x16, use that...and so on. It could improve your game speed.
My diet consists of nails, code-stealers, and HP fans.
