Rain Competition Results

Post by tr1p1ea »

Okay, i only recieved a 3 entires, 2 BASIC and 1 ASM. Because of this i have decided that all 3 will win $50AUD and a personalised trophy each for their efforts since it would be unfair for 2 to win and the remaining to miss out.

I hope i have everything correct here.

I will post links to downloads if the authors permit.

Well done to all those who entered; the difficult part is never writing the code, but finishing the project. :D

Go ahead you got my blessing.

I wasn't expecting a ASCII rain. :) It looks Matrix, only miss more letters and greenish colours.
If I had chosen to go ASCII way, I would do it very different...

The ASM is quite bad weather.

Oh, I was expecting more entries. Anyway, it was fun and a bit exciting. After all is a mini-contest.

Another win by default? This is getting strangely repetitive... I am cursed!! :P

But yeah, you can use my code if you want! Its too bad we didn't have more entries. All the others were good :)

I am curious to see the code builderboy. Just curiosity if it is random or other thing.

I though my program initial load was slower, that was my impression on my calc.
Also I remember that my has some different rains. It is like the rain is getting bigger and in the end very windy. A brain teaser who guesses my method (basic commands) for the rain?

Here's a complete screen shot:

I joined for a little competition and fun. :P I don't need the money, and if they won't receive the price, I won't either. Just to keep fair. But I like to do collections. And I miss money from 1 continent, that is right, Oceania. xD

I had fun but I still lack competition. Maybe next time.
Omnimaga contest should have more entries.. I have an idea but time is very short now.

congrats to all the entrants...and way to be sportsman like amongst all of you!
This mini-contest is a good way to get the competitiveness going and the brain juices flow.
Tr1p, I hope you can come up with more nice quick ideas and hopefully you can get more entries.
