I'm sticking to projects.. just nothing that involves my calc anymore.

My current project has four wheels. Its been an adventure so too. Never gets old for me working on a car, well anything for that matter.

Looking at your site, just guessing its yours but I think I'm right, you seem to be quite electronically skilled. I'd really enjoy learning how to do things like that, and make them work.

That LCD, even though I can grasp how it works, still is nearly magic to me.

Sounds fun. :) What are you doing with (to?) the car? I've never been so good with mechanical work - I started repairing my bicycle a couple of years ago and it's still sitting in a shed somewhere in pieces. :(

Electronics is one of my hobbies, yes.

I'm slowing restoring an old BMW. So really just do much needing maintenance, and replacing worn out parts. I bought it back in October of last year, needed a cheap car, and it has just turned into a long term project.

I think I'm going to attempt my had at building a z80 computer. I'll have to create a build thread on here. Maybe I can help to bring some people back to actually help me a bit with it. Maybe even inspire some people, at least the ones who have time, to pull up some old projects. :D Wish full thinking maybe.

I'm still somewhat around, just not really posting on as many TI forums as before. In Early 2008, I drifted from the TI community and focused on music creation for most of that year while venturing into Casio programming, then by late 2008 I returned into TI stuff again. However, I was too busy with my two forums and a gaming clan to visit other TI sites. It's only around Mid 2009 that I started lurking on most TI forums every few day again (which is when I gave away my music forum to someone else and focused on my calc-related one)

Btw I think I remember you, but I am not so sure anymore, because so many new faces showed up on MC back when I was really active here (2005). I just remember seeing your name around a few times. I was Kevin back then, then eventually switched to xlibman to finally switch to DJ Omnimaga.

I noticed in the TI community a lot of old faces showed up again in the past few months, even if they do not necessarily code for TI anymore. It's nice to see them visit again (and in some cases, even gain back interest into coding). I wonder if it's the TI-Nspire jail-breaking craze, the wave of new featured programs in 2009-2010 and Youtube calc vids??

As for myself, I unfortunately never managed to finish an entire calc RPG since Reuben Quest 2 again. I had a RPG that went at 90% completion last year, though (and only misses the final dungeon, final battle and ending). I still program every now and then, although more in the 83+ language called Axe rather than TI-BASIC, now. I can't believe I'm still doing it after almost 9 years x.x

EDIT: wow I am still top 6th poster and my daily post rate is still over 1 even if I left several times for almost a year sometimes? I guess I was such a spammer back then x.x. (although far less much than on the old Ikonboard)
