Ok, since Stephen has recently announced that he will run for president. He will also be running in both sides, Democratic and Republican. Putin will be his Vice President. What does everyone think about this latest announcement.

Stephen & Putin 08.

Personally, I think it may be an interesting idea. Who knows how good or bad he would actually be.

Hell, Arnold Schwarzenegger is our governor (California), why not have Colbert for president. :D

Has anyone seen Idiocracy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/)? Seems like some things might actually be happening soon...

Recently He's actually filled out the forms. He's also talking about taking Putin as his running mate.

He'd probably do well

But most people are idiots, even in the US (no offense to anyone here, most programmers aren't idiots) so they won't vote for the best president but for the coolest or the "most American" president. That happens almost everywhere.

That Arnold Schwarzenegger became governor has always surprised me.. he wasn't even born in the US!

By 'Putin', do we mean "Vladimir Putin", that russian guy who used to be in the KGB? How could any former KGB person become vice president of anything except Russia?

I hated that movie, Man of the Year, expect a comedy and get some conspiracy crap.

He'd probably do better than bush, he's at least a good speaker, lots of truthiness.

it seems obvious, hes making himself unelectable, i think he may have feared the prospect of becoming president on a longshot so he made putin his running mate essentially making him 100% unelectable.

It's a joke guys, he doesn't actually intend to win. Making Putin his running mate just brings up the funny.

He's actually the president of Russia right now.

Apparently he's only running in South Carolina (at least according to my cousin).
