The official site for Smash Bros Brawl on Nintendo Wii - You will note that there is a counter!

I wonder what happens when this runs out? :).

I'll tell you what they'd better do when it runs out. Announce Sonic the Hedgehog as a newcomer! Otherwise, I might explode!

I feel the same way DigiTan, I mean in the past they could have argued he's not an original nintendo character, but now that they added Snake that's no longer a problem. Oh, and if they do Sonic they better do Knuckles. Also, it would be cool to see a couple classic bosses (other then bowser) in the game. I can't wait to see the map designs...

Well, when MC hits the Wii (when Bungie breaks its contract with M$), then he will be in a Smash Bros. game :P

"Super Smash Bros. Brawl" - Thats 23 characters by my count ... rofl!

..So I guess there are 3 hidden characters in this one!

Mario & Sonic at The Olympics is coming out this year. I'd say that's a sure sign that we'll see the Blue Blur in the next Brawl. And if you're adding Sonic, you gotta have Knuckles and Tails! Throw in classic levels like Green Hill or Casino Night and you've got yourself a party!

Master Chief is the icon of pure noobs. Halo was a bland, repetitive shooter made worse by the fact that 12 year olds think it's godly.

oh come on! you can't deny how much fun it is!
seriously! halo is a great shooter...

It is a great shooter in it's own right. Though I'm partial to the Tribes franchise for taking the intensity up a notch. 8)

Bomberman and Mega Man seem like natural additions. With fanbases spanning a decade or two. Look to Nights from the Sega franchise. Maybe Rayman or Toejam & Earl. And Laura Croft anyone?

And it would be cool to see Dr. Mario and young Link take on more unique fight moves if they're appearing.

I dislike Halo's single-player campaigns. I find them mostly boring, even with co-op. Multiplayer is generally a blast, though, in my opinion, on the right maps. However, I've been enjoying Half-Life 2's great single-player experience lately.

As for Brawl, I've been looking forward to this since it was announced. Unfortunately, the site seems rather barren as of now. Oh well. I still need to get my hands on a Wii. :)
