Yeah I already tried to make an ID program, but it sucked. And didn't work. I actually used the topic on DS where Dan said that as my reference, but I still couldn't get it.

Ok anyone that wants to help, I'll start setting up my site (comikorp.net) as a project site. But first, the concentration should start off on the TI-game itself, since it would most likely easier to add an option to export char data, then make the online battle system and then the link between them. I appreciate anyone that wants to help.

Okay I already know what I want to do, so I'll be posting on this a little bit more. First of all, instead of making a new game, I'll just use the one I was going to start working on (for RPL) but I might as well learn ASM and code it in that. To save time for the sake of originality, if anyone would like to code this for me and allow me to study off of the source so I can learn ASM that way. (Yes, thats really sad for someone to have to program my own ides, but I never took time to learn ASM) If anyone is interested in "helping" me, please PM me. (I have sprites and most of my written work was done.)

I am doing this only because I want to see if any online game will work for the TI and because my notes/concepts of Jedi Remnants were for the first version. Thanks, got to go finish my summer assignment (1 week left and haven't started)

Allow me to ask a stupid question... How do you intend to get a calculator "online" once you've figured that ID out? I fail to see the connection between the two.

Edit: I took the time to read a bit more. You want to make a website that you can upload your program file to, and it updates it so you can download a version with the properly altered universe? That's... a funny idea but not very useful since you still wouldn't really be interacting with other people. Next to that you wouldn't need an ID code for that.

I don't think you can connect to calculators from online, but you could make a program converter to create the data of you character from the calc to a text file that can't be editted and then you could make a program to take the text file and then play online. So it could be a multiplatform game technically :D

why don't you have an offline and an online version?

Calc version for leveling up players
Internet version for competeing against others
girls=time*money
time=money
girls=money*money
money is the root of all evil
girls=(evil^1/2)*(evil^1/2)
girls=(evil^1/2)^2
girls=evil

sorry i havent been active, but im in a very rigorous program at school (3+hrs of HW a night) so once again im putting a project on hold. However, if anyone wants to take over from the idea I have hopefully sparked, please do! Also, if DarkAuron is still doing his project, maybe he could make it online/offline or something. Please experiment with this idea until I can seriously code again (Christmas break will prolly be the first time) due to school work. Until then.
