(I know this is off-topic, but I dont know where I can post this else, and we've already started talking about it in this thread anyway)

If any drummers on this forum are interested in joining a new international band, genre not defined yet (at the moment just a mix of rock/punk/metal), contact me at unknown_one_1976@hotmail.com (email or MSN Messenger) or Unknown One 1976 (AIM).

Vocals: Bram Tant (me)
Backing Vocals: George Daole-Wellman (dysfunction)
Lead Guitar: Gordie Daole-Wellman (dysfunction's lil' bro)
Rhytm Guitar: George Daole-Wellman
Bass Guitar: Bram Tant
Accoustic Guitar: Bram Tant & Gordie Daole-Wellman

The only thing you have to do (at the moment) is record your drum parts and send them to dysfunction to get them mixed. Any more info can be asked here, on AIM or by email.

@Bram: good luck, I hope this works... I'd suggest looking around Drummer forums and stuff (I know they exist)

I don't know how you define "works" but I would say this works if we have some fun, and maybe write some good music.

I play drums, but my set is kinda crappy, I have no recording equipment, and I don't like punk or heavy metal much. :P Unless, of course, I could use the little microphone that plugs into my computer lol. I mean, sometimes you do get at least a little bit of something that doesn't sound like static out of the thing.

Well, to record drums well, you should at least have a couple of microphones (depending on the size of your set) which each are directed at a part (the bass, the hi-hat, the snare, ...). And Spengo, if you'd join us, you could write songs too and have input on the other songs and genre. I dont even think we'll play punk or heavy metal. I was just saying overall.

WATSKEBURT! (dutch r & b song)

http://www.bramtant.be/purityreborn.mp3

This is a recording of the Guitar Pro file of the song, so far, with me singing along. I need to practice yet, though it sounds good already, according to some people who already heard it.

This is the Guitar Pro file itself, for those of you who have Guitar Pro. If you'd be so kind to write a cool, nice sounding (along with the song) bass line (and not TOO hard, but not too easy either), it'd be appreciated.

Actually Bram, that's an unfinished version... why don't you wait until I'm finished?

Look, in the future, let's stop posting the stupid midis, and wait until we've recorded, because the midis sound gross. We don't really need to use this forum to show everyone the step-by-step process of writing and recording a song.
