If you follow the main quest for like 10 seconds you get a free horse, which also never dies.
@leofox: Try setting your fog start to 0 and end to 100000. That works for me.

That free horse is pretty slow, and doesn't looks as bad ass as Shadowmere. Also: never dies?! lol! Mine died pretty fast, after it fell off a mountain.. restored a save game after that.

I don't play Oblivion anymore though.. I played everything thats worth playing.

If shadowmere dies, it comes back to life withing half a minute.

seemed to be a very good game, and im getting a little tired of shooters, so i picked this up today for $40 at best buy. you guys all love this game, so im pretty sure i will. glad its in dvd form, i hate long cd install times.

nah, I got bored of it recently.
So I beated FEAR at maximum difficulty, then taken on Prey, and now trying out War craft 3 Skibi's Castle.
