When looking at Ti-news I just noticed that
http://ti-news.net/channelbrowse.php?ch ... hforge.com
dunno how they add news from pure HTML sites though...

Well PHP is basically pure HTML in the way they read it. PHP and Perl etc. have a library with which you can easily extract content from sites by recognizing patterns. In PHP sites the layout for newsitems is overall consistent, in HTML it might differ since the webmaster might change the table layout, so that can cause them problems.
"They say that sea was created by a man named Maarten Zwartbol, a long time ago...." - Duck, an old Corbin version
Hmm, might be the server .
But this also mean that TI-news is no longer a TI-only related website, since Omnimaga is also for Casio and HP.
EDIT: At least now I know why my frontpage bumped up from 2900 hits to 3100 in about two days (I usually get only 10-20 clicks per day )
EDIT 2: Something I am afraid about: Now I only display 5 newsitems at once on the front page of my website. If I had a newsitem I delete the oldest one and put it in the older news page. If I add a newsitem on my website does this mean that the oldest one at ti-news.net will mess up or get deleted? Also fake news have different text color, will this cause problems too?
Basically I just have to make sure I dont accidentaly destroy my table layout or stuff like this. I remember 10 months ago when I asked them if they could put my site in their conglomerate, but they were very busy and also at that time my website was very small and not updated often. I assume that they found the new URL (since the site moved to 2 different servers in the meantime) and decided to add it.Well PHP is basically pure HTML in the way they read it.
