Finally managed to get cel-shading to work. Model needs a bit more work, and animations still aren't done. She lacks eyes at the moment because I couldn't get the eye textures to automatically export; can easily be modified later.
As I said, the model needs a bit more work. Originally the skirt, body, hair, and tie were all seperate objects. If you combine objects in 3DS Max, the bones detach, and merging objects correctly requires precise work; I was simply rushing to get a combined model. I'm not the creator of the model, one of the team members is, but he's often unavailible and hasn't finished the model yet.
Not much right now, just basic movement and collision detection. There's been very little progress for quite some time now, due to school and varying stress factors.
crzyrbl: Technically, none. You can use certain combinations of mapping and texture usage for water, but for pixel shading you'd need to use a .fx Effect file.
Anyhow, the intro video is finally done. It could be in a higher quality, but that'll be okay for now.
Though I don't feel my work is quite availible for the public just yet, I would like to inform you guys that I got 1st place in Regionals and I'll be competing in State on May 3rd. Go Abscencia!
