I was on one of our class websites getting ready for another uneventful semester when I noticed this in the syllabus...
It's unclear right now whether this will be at the HQ where TI's are managed, or at the newer, shinier, chip plant by the tollway. Either way, it should be interesting to see how many TI brochures I can walk out with.

Too late to withdraw without the W, census day was yesterday. You and I should go check out the calculator one. It's just west of 75 in Plano, near Clark High School if you know where that is. Most likely you're going to do what some of my friends did last year. They were the host families of some foreign students and TI took them around their DLP facilities.
Aw man. I almost forgot pictures! Will have to get that new camera tomorrow.
Some updates here. It turns out this tour will be at none other than TI's North Campus. The nerve center of the whole company! The building itself is simply called "DMOS 6," which isn't far from the famed "South Building" where I got to pass by a few DLP offices last year. This building has a class-100 cleanroom where they make all their new high-speed wafers. I will post up the play-by-play account on Friday.
