CompWiz wrote:yeah, that does look better. However, does it have to be a shaded shape? Couldn't you make it look more like a craggy rock? Shading doesn't look all that good when you only have black and white.
Thats how i made mine anyway.

But no one seems to care...

In which case, I suppose we should both receive 10MC and a "thank you" in the FM :P

Anyway, I like Tr1p's modifications too, but it makes it more a nicely smooth round form instead of the cracked pos that a rock should be :)

@King: I don't have any binaries other than that PNG ;) I drew it in Paint, and you can either import it with some tool or with Brass's .incbmp directive or convert it to binary numbers by hand. Guess that goes for most contestants.

ehh, don't push it. since the total prize is 10MC, and this entry was worked on by 2 people, that means you each get 5. You still would both get mentioned in the "FM" though. Of course, this is if you win.

and the shading that you did didn't really show a craggy rock, it looked more like a badly shaded rock, IMHO. But, that was just me. Maybe other people can see what you were trying to show.

You know, actually I used the shape of a rock I drew years ago in 8x8 pixels for The Core of Light. Or kinda that shape. I was really happy with that rock :P Good old times... :)

Ok, I simply cannot decide which one I like better. So, there are 3 semi-winners. :)

1. threefingeredguy
I modified your design a tiny bit to make it more bottom-heavy, but in general your design was the closest to my current theme. It was very white with simple outlines, which fits well with my other sprites. Also, it has a "classic" pixil art feel to it, which I like.
2. Timendus
3. tr1p1ea
Since you both contributed to the same rock, I'll declare you co-co-winners ;). I like the dithering, and if I modify my other sprites to be a bit less white, I will probably use your design.

All 3 get 5 MaxCoins and a boost on the Loom Special Thanks list. Thanks very much to everyone who entered and offered feedback. Your input will help make this game better.

There may be more contests soon as I come to need other things, so check back often ;).
