The heck was that for?..

Anyways, to get back on topic, I'm alternating work between Tankies and DDR, but putting more focus in Tankies right now since it's very close to being finished. Then I can put 100% devotion to DDR! :D

@DarkAuron: Sorry about that I've been silly lately :P , I'll control myself now.

I'm curious will there be any crazy backgrounds like the real ddr, dancing girls, or perhaps fractal madness.

Well so far what you see is more or less actual speed, and I don't have any delays at all. And the engine still isn't done. So what's that say? Uh.. I've got a lot of optimizing to do if I want to have extra stuff going on :?

Fractal madness in real-time on calc? Now that really would be something ... hehehe.

Anyway i think that any sort of animation would be cool, even if its a static anim just looped over and over.

It really didn't seem slow in that last sceenshot. Perhaps something simple, like those fun little screen saver we see all the time on TI's, those bouncing lines, or something else to catch the players eye.
I would personally like to see the dancing girl. :P

They're kind of is, if you can find an USB pad, and program drivers you could make it for the 84+. You would need something to display the calc screen while dancing though, like a viewscreen.

Yeah but you see, since I'm not using delays, if I add ANYTHING, it's going to run slower. Only way to counter that is with speed optimizations.
