I have the MSDN CD with every release of Windows 95 on it, and have not seen this game - maybe it came with a common addon-package (Plus! maybe?)

EDIT: "Hover! is a video game that came bundled with Windows 95.", according to Wikipedia. Very strange.

I have an original-release Windows 95 CD (OEM). It's sitting in a folder... Not really mentioned anywhere nor installed by default. Actually, I think you might be able to get to it from the menu... It's been so long since I've used it I dont remember... But it's a kick-butt game.

:D, I played it last night and it was fun! Spengo thinks someone should port it to calcs, he said maybe z80 or 68k. He also thought it would be possible to use the gemini engine for this? Idk but it would be cool!

This would be great for calcs. I remember playing that on my old Dell computer like 10 years ago. I think that you could find it on the Win 95 cd in the folder called games or something. Gemeni doesn't have any jumping abilities, like this game had. Maybe a engine modification could fix that. If you need more speed, you could take out the wall textures.

@Everyone who hasn't found it: It's kind of hidden. :/ You have to go look for it on your cd. It's on the actual windows 95 CD I think.

Well, without the jumping and the textures, it would be kinda possible, perhaps even with the gemini engine (with textures)... Would look horrible though in black and white; you wouldn't even be able to see the difference between red and blue flags...

Yes, it comes on an 'official' version of Win95.

I would have thought that everyone would have a look around on the disk. I still know my Win95 serial number :).

If you took out the textures, would you be able to add in jumping? And the flags could have patterns on them, like an x on one and an o on the other.

Taking out textures would make it alot faster, this is why zdoom is so fast.

Didn't that Windows 95 CD come with Hover AND a Weezer music video? ^^ Good times.
Currently coming up with a new signature idea... since my forum avatar changer was killed by an upgrade...
