Even though the US is at war with iraq, we still buy oil from them, they raise the prise, make more money. Where do you think that money goes...?

A big problem with the price of gas is these big companies like conoco, and exon are making huge profits from the price of gas, so basically they are more into making money than anything, and all the research that is going into using hydrogen as fuel, those huge oil companies are completely submerged in it...

I haven't seen fahrenheit 911, is it good, haven't read the book yet either. With the southern draw that I have I find it hard for people to hear the short words I say...

no a LOT of "streching the truth" why would you like kerry any ways he's a bag of hot air. he would make the us COMUNNISIM which would probably turn into us leading a aggression (like hitler) to take over the world.

more about communisim farmers were given their "lots" of so many 200+ acres to farm and had 1 acre to farm their own food that they could sell and make money off of that was not taxed. and guess what? that one acre produced more than all that persons other 200+ acres COMBINED this shows people almost always work for their own profit showing that if one of them was leader they would try to gain as much as they could as well. so that would create in essence another hitler. this is another reason why Democracy would work better.

Aside from the government, a capitolistic economy, with a good run of communism (not with someone that wants personal gain) I believe that it would make a good combo.

any government would work great with poeple not in for personal gain BUT they aren't so democracy really works the best with this screwed up world.

Like I said(and so many before me said) we wouldnt need a government if men were selfless.

well when there was communism in Russia people lived much better and had everyting. now there is democracy and great poverty even though everyone said it would work better

there can't be leaders in democracy because everyone works for themselves. in communism great leadres are very likely because the people work for the country, and the country gives to them.

I don't see anything valid with that statement. And I believe you confusing capitalism and democracy, they don't have to go hand and hand.

Communism
Socialism
Captialism

Prominent governmental systems*:
Dictatorship (A few different types)
Monarchy (Very few actually left)
Democracy (Many different types)

*Yes there are more, but those are the three that get reffered to the most

None of these systems have to neccesarrily go hand in hand...

every one works for themselves then their country if working for self is more profitable they do that if working for country is more profitable in the meantime they would do that EXAMPLE:
if you got paid 200,000 dollars for being in the milatary the list would be quite full this is not because "hey i'm going to go into the milatary to serve my country" no it is "hey I get 200,000 dollars looks like a good deal so off to the military" if all other jobs paid 300,000 dolars all of a sudden their would be virtually no people in the milatary.
