For people that don't use the finance app, I being one, it would be nice to remove it. The variables are useless in programming, and if you don't use it, its a waste of space. for SE owners that isn't a problem space.
Even in windows, you can hide files, programs, and anything else but it still takes up space when you check you mem. I don't think its possible to hide the prog and make it look like its not even there with a mem check.

actually those variables are not useless. you can store date into them and I think kevin used some of them in Reuben Quest

GOD YOUR YOUNG.
Anyway the finace "APP" isvery useful if you need it. But really I doubt most of you use all of the abilities that the 83+ has been programmed with. If you just got your ti for games and adding, go buy a DS.
As for hiding apps, wasn't there a part of the ram that tells what pages have apps on them. I can't remeber, tios isn't my specialty.

You must enable the Fast Apps menu (which IS labeled SE Only) in order to use the Hide Finance "App" option. Note that it is indented...

Not really. You'd have to do a lot of source hacking. It's just because Finance isn't really an App, they just needed a place to put it (since they had to do musical keys from the 83 to 83+).
