For boredom's sake, i decided to do a google search for z80 revelation, to see what place it stood and then I came across this site. There was a news article on revelation, but it was copied from onimaga. I thought this was kind of weird. Why do they copy articles word for word from other TI news sites? It almost sounds like they wrote it. Not that im against it, it just seems pointless...
yeah, calcwebzine.com was also one of the channels... i let them remove it, seein they also posted all of our articles and stuff... i mean news is ok, but also grabbing our articles makes me feel bad
Cool, that would make my website thingy (the one that should become the codebase website) the only external site that has the calcwebzine headlines (unless someone else was stupid enough to parse the HTML instead of using the ti-news feed)
I dont care about if they take my articles. Now I always go to TI-news to check the recent community news then I click on the website link from which it was grabbed then go on their forums. Also I noticed a traffic increase on my website since they added the Omnimaga channel.
It's a pretty useful site but I can imagine that it isn't a good thing if you have a newssite and they 'rip' your newsitems transforming them into your site with alot of other articles. If that happens users will only go to the conglomerate.
