The key styles are actually different... I like the layout on the 89T, but I do find myself pressing too far up/down the bar sometimes. Annoying as hell.

From what I've seen, the 84+ buttons are... weird. As for memory, the 89T pwns the 84+.

Theres no question on wether the 89t are better, they are. however, the more popular model is the 83+ line(84s included). Others wise TI would not have made so many different versions.

Sadly to say popularity means alot.

What I would like to see is a replacement OS, not just pongOS, i mean a fully program math OS. I think you can do alot better than what TI has provided.

People kept making it sound like the ti-84+SE has more space than the ti-83+SE, but it does NOT. Just wanted to get that out :alien:

Might of lost a ram page for the USB, but I don't have one to run through the os.

[Side note]

TI doesn't require you to register your product to get the OSes, not even EULA. Just a couple of links to either the 83+(se) or the 84+(se).

You would think downloading would be a little harder than that.

The 84+ does in fact use one more sector of Flash for its boot code (which includes USB code) that was previously unused in the 83+SE.

Be that as it may, it doesnt really matter in the long run. I dont understand why some people as as critical of the 84+SE as they are ... its still a cool calc.

I would love to own one ... that worked :).
