If you thought that was the best prank, you obviously never saw calc.org's big spoof of ticalc.org.

I was ready to see a community uproar if Metroid was really cancelled. So when did you Metroid guys plan the hoax?

An even worse joke was the one on the Blind Guardian (greatest power metal band of all time) forum: the joke was that the band was breaking up! Then two days later, after finally having calmed down from my reaction to the joke, it was announced that their drummer, Thomen Stauch, was leaving the band. At first I thought this was a sick joke as well, but it turned out it was true. I don't know if there are any other BG fans here, but this is truly sad news for me.

I love Blind Guardian, unfortunately tho this past saturday all 72 cds in my collection got stolen. I am so pissed. Those things are my life. I had Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Static-X, In Flames, Spineshank... Everybody...But now theyy are gone

But is that really true, are they breaking up or is it just the drummer leaving? BTW: will the next demons and wizards album be cancelled now?
