sorry, I did mean reply, but thought that might just "reply to last post". You guys can delete this topic if you feel it's bad. So sorry. Didn't mean to inconvenience you. :oops:

And I have nothing against MaxCoderz. AND I'm glad you are proud to be "elitist teenagers" :lol:

I never really got why people do '==' as that is usually used for conditionals, and not assignment ... oh well.

*runs away*

Yeah, he really should have said joe = rockstar.

But "Joe == Rockstar" implies he already WAS a rockstar, before this comment. 8)

Mike nailed it. He always was a rockstar, which is the reason for the conditional. :) (if it was assignment, I would prolly do something like this:

Code: Select all

Joe += Rockstar;
:D)

It could be a question, like "Joe, are you a rockstar?" Because that's what conditionals are.. questions. :)

I saw this over at calcgames.org:

Image

It is bcherry's upcoming Metroid game for the 68k calcs. It looks awesome, and seems to play well. I know this isnt really related to Joe's Metroid, but I just thought that these kinds of awesome projects dont go unnoticed over here at the z80 line of things. Metroid is awesome plan and simple, and anyone with the balls to take on such a huge project, is a brave person. This is were the greats shine!
