it's a home server with port 80 redirecting service from no-ip.org, but it's not serving the pages correctly from the outside internets. Here's the pic:

I decided to try and pick this project up again because I'm bored, and want something to do. And like half of the work is already done on this, so I thought "why not?" Let's see how far I get!

I love this project, and I want to see it finished. I hope you find the motivation for it...And it could be SS, but it is fine as it is.

ok, site should work now. damn ports causing a ruckus.

So, nothing has changed with this project since the last update (which was like a year and a half ago) except that I have it compiling, and all my tools working. There are really only a few things left to work on...

- actual gameplay (shooting/weapons, enemies, etc)
- map design and sprite work
- wrapping it all up

the problem is, I haven't touched assembly since I stopped working on this project, so I'm a little rusty. I was looking through the code the other day, and couldn't believe that I had actually written it all. Time to relearn some things. But I think after I get my feet wet again, I'll be able to finish this project up.

Oh, and I doubt I'll make it smooth scrolling. I kinda like it the way it is (done). :D

Project Dead.
Even though this project has been dead for like 2 years, I can now officially kill it because I realized today that I lost all of my TI source code, everything I've ever worked on, because I hadn't backed everything up in the last computer OS reinstall. Oops. I've been wanting to start programming again, but I don't know if this will be revived.

Sorry for bumping a really old topic. :D

and ~10 pages of notes.

Who knows.. I have been ridiculously bored lately, maybe a small programming exercise is what I need.

If you are not interested in continuing I would like to see those notes, as I would like to produce a game similar to this. I hope this sparks your interest again...

Tis a shame. It looked intersting from the description. Kinda like contra on wheels ...and with less weapons. :)
