Here you can find side projects of the staff and great projects which we think should get extra support. (Note that featured products are not products of MaxCoderz)
Jim e wrote:I don't know why I made a big deal about this, but it help me get motivated about coding. I made a bonefied wave player. Capable of sound (theoretically) at 32khz. And at 8bits. One thing that is important is not just the sample rate the bits used per sample, this allows for more accurately creating a actual waves, rather than just sending the on & off to the link port creating lots of noise. The sound quality is really a step up from Play wav.
But anyway I'm working on a C program that will convert everything very quickly and output it to an app. Depending on the quality you could get between 1 to 3 minutes of sound on an 84+se. I know this would only be for a gag. But I just wanted to code this, you know, if you guys didn't think I was nerdy before, well this will fix that. Howdy!
Oh and sorry but I couldn't decide on a short song and that just happen to be on my hard drive.
No sound hardware on this PC, so I'll have to wait until tonight when I get to my own machine to hear your video I look forwards to further developments!

Can't wait to watch a 2 seconds movie on my 83 It's a great proof of concept though, I wonder if there's some kind of repository dedicated to this kind of experiments (maybe we could make some room on wikiti ?).
