Beats per minute; speed of the song. I suppose it wouldn't be too bad on the faster songs, I dunno.. I just want to make sure it runs good

I'll try... I'll try

Edit: Oh no! 255 posts! I've reached my byte limit! *runs around searching for the next byte*

  ld de,DarkAuron_PostCount+1
  ld bc,End_of_Vars-DarkAuron_PostCount
  ldir
  ld hl,DarkAuron_PostCount+1
  ld (hl),0
Dangerous, but life is a dangerous game .

In BASIC?! I'm scared of this one considering how bad that asm one was.

Considering the fact it's BASIC and has almost the same exact functionality as this, I don't see how it's "the REAL and BEST" DDR..

The biggest problem I'd see with a DDR game on calc is the amount of time it takes for pixels to turn on on a real LCD screen. By the time the pixel is dark enough, you will have missed the beat.
You know your hexadecimal output routine is broken when it displays the character 'G'.

But you can compensate for things like that pretty easily I would think.

make a delay, i think :? thats how it was with ps1 ddr games because the pads were laggy. plus, for the music, i am not telling you to do this, but you could make it like nes music, with really small encoding. remeber that post a long time a go with the guy who made a boom box program for the 82. something like that but simpler.

Since Tankies is nearly done I'm focusing my attention upon it until I finish it. Until then DDR is on hold, unfortunately. I find it too stressing to work on two projects at the same time while dealing with school (luckily I have spring break this week though).

Does anyone here have one of those calc screen projector thingies at your school? Imagine having DDR comps in math on the big screen >:).

Haha My Trig teacher has one of those, heck even one for the TI-92, but I'm not sure he'd be too keen on us playing a game on his big screen as he clears out our ram whenever anyone mentions a game in his presence
