unless he implement some sort of anti-TI-84 ASM code so the game will say "your calc sux" when running it on a TI-84+ , I hope to play this game soon! :)

Yes, you can mak a ti-84+ specific message, check michaelv's ports page.

And no, the ti-83+SE rules:
-The ti-84+SE is a colored electronic brick with a design from Fisher Price.
-TI decided to take the Microsoft route and bond with Fisher Price for new products, making things bright, colorful, and kid-like.
-The ti-84+SE also sports abosolutely NOTHING new that has anything significant.
-TI is also taking the Microsoft route by replacing the ti-83+SE with the ti-84+ and no longer supporting production of the ti-83+SE, which is just evil.

Now if you'd like to back that up, I'll see your reply within a few weeks. I bid you adieu. *vanishes in a swirl of purple and green fire and smoke*

NanoWar, any updates? Could you tell more about the game concept? Is it something like an rpg battle which is controlled by cards?

P.s.: 83 rules everything and everyone. Beware the almighty power of the god of calcs. 8)

HAHAHAHHAAHHAAHHAHAHA! Hilarious!

TI83+SE owns all other z80. And the fact that TI no longer produces them makes them rare and vauleble. 84s have buggy LCDs and a natively slowed processor. But the 83 makes no comparison.

Code: Select all

         | 83 | 83+se
----------------------------------------
speed | ~5mhz | ~6mhz | ~15mhz
----------------------------------------
Ram | 27K | 24K+96K
----------------------------------------
Arch | -1 | 1540k
----------------------------------------
update | no | Yes
----------------------------------------
Asist | none | Link, MD5,
Hardware | | Crystal timers
         | |Cpu speed, LCD

Oi! Just because you are biased. The 83 IS the mother of all calcs.

Why dont i just post TI-89 Titanium specs and put the TI-83+ SE to shame? It doesnt mean anything ... the 83 is godly and thats all there is to it .

Also i thought that the 83+SE and the 84+'s had the same display driver (T6K04)?

I saw one in a museum once next to the abacus. :P

@tr1p:I said the SE Owns all other z80, 89s are 68k. Have you forgotten the 81 came first. So it would be the mother.

ok - I hope that all "best TI" discussions are over!

@kv: did you read my last post? hmm, no matter!
The pbject of my game is that you fight versus creatures who have power and defense. These enemys have extra abilities to make the game harder... You controle one creature and you can play cards to damage your enemy or to heal your creature and blabla... If you won, you get money for being able to buy more cards for your deck. at last there should be ca. 50 different cards, but there aren't so much card ideas.
Cards you play cost Aether - its possible to play more than one card each turn - and your Aether-pool increases each turn.

The card drawing procedure is not ready jet, and the shops or even the money is missing. poison does not effect anyone
no game surface exists - if you start the game you will went into a random fight (very easy in case of testing).

S.o. wants to test the game?
Ok, you all do, but the betabetabeta of Wizards is very buggy (no ram clears, but unfuncionality. if you win it will exit and some card effects don't work) and at the moment my upload server doesn't work [whaaa!]
Sorry!
