[Featured][Dev] PindurTI (Best Thread 2005)

Here you can find side projects of the staff and great projects which we think should get extra support. (Note that featured projects are not projects by staff members of MaxCoderz)

19ko for a near-completly working emulator is smart I must say

I intend to release the source after it's been cleaned up and reorganised so new models can be easily added, but I won't show it to anyone until then. It's a really tiny program, the current LOC is 2588 (3/5 of which is the Z80 emulation) including comments and lots of empty rows.

Do you think you can port this to windows-based smartphones? It would really help if i had a compiler+emu on my phone, because i can program anywhere then.

There isn't much chance of that happening since I don't know the platform and don't have the necessary information for development.

Minor update: linking added. Just drop the 83* files onto the window when in the home screen (yes, silent linking only).

I've also noticed that it emulated correctly the hardware scrolling, while vti doesn't :)

Do you mean the z-addressing?

Also does it emulate the contrast changing?

Port $10 is the LCD command port, but why are you bringing it up? Anyway, the surprise is that ports $12, $18 and $1A also work for this purpose, but that's a secret. ;)

Unfortunately I haven't found any docs regarding lots of ports, so the emulation is far from perfect.
