Cool screenshot! And your TI-83+ SE look newer than mine. Mine's getting a bit yellowish over the year

My 83+SE is still very clean after a year and a half. Two things that help:
  • My 83+SE has a black case because of the viewscreen port. :D
  • I keep my calculator(s) in my pockets so often that they get polished.
I've actually kept graphing calculators in my right pocket for so long that I have a white line on my pants around the outline of an average graphing calculator. A friend of mine at school has developed the same habit.... :P

I always have my 83+ in my pocket too. However, since I always wear cargo pants, I put it in the LOWER right pocket so it doesn't get in the way of my hands. I like to reserve the upper ones for hands only. :) Actually, I hardly ever go anywhere without my calculator. :/ Back on topic, how is tankies coming along now anyways? Can you make it so there are a bajillion different weapons and stuff? That would be cool too.

They sit there and stay warm while the rest of me freezes as I wait for the bus at 7:10AM in 34F degree Oregon mornings :P

What exactly is this game like? Looks like lunar lander to me. soooo are you supposed to be landing a tank (tankie) on the moon or something? What happened to using tanks to warfare??? I thought this was going to be a tank game  :insane:

No, it's not lunar lander. If you read the info and watched the screenshots, you'd know I don't have another tank in yet, and the tank is able to destroy the landscape.

And please don't post the same exact thing in both topics, it has been removed from the Editor topic since it doesn't pertain to it or the off-topic conversations.

It's like scorched earth somewhat. Or, using another calc game as an example, BangBang4. :D

I had a tankies-like game sitting on my 83+ for almost half a year now called Tank Assault. Seeing your screenshots and reading posts about it made me want to start it up again, which I have. Competition is the driving force of creativity. So I guess we'll see what we both end up with. I'll try to get some screenshots up in the next couple days and maybe start my own topic in the announce your projects section.

Some features:
-Random Landscapes: smooth hills, rough hills, mountains
-Custom Landscapes: load from pics or lists
-Weapons: missile, homing missile, nuke, air strike, digger, and more
-Movements: Left and Right, jump, teleport, can fall off ledges
-Adjustable Physics: gravity, wind
-Opponents: human, AI(easy, medium, hard)
-Options Screen: Set weapons/movements available, amount of ammo for each weapon, adjust physics
-Other: fully destructable landscapes, save/load game, pause, multiple rounds(like best 2 of 3), damage depends on how close you are to center of blast radius, timed sudden death(where a row of pixels is erased every turn until someone either dies from getting shot or the ground falls out from beneath them and they die), can replay last level with no loading

I'll update my webpage sometime soon also.
