Now like any developer, I like to show off the bits of work I pull off. Well, now you finally get to see two of my pre-made landscapes that aren't completely random in generation.. just altered with random values.

Image Image

The Hill, which is the first one, varies in width, height, and position. Spikes is the second one, it usually looks like that but still varies in spikyness.

I won't show any of the ones after that.. not because I havn't done them yet (although I havn't though so.. heh) but because you have to unlock them, and displaying them would ruin the fun now wouldn't it? :P

it all looks good and very fast, is it just the emulator or is it this fast on calc?

New screenshots! The first shows the slightly newer title screen, which just has an extra menu option for the Stats Page. The last two demonstrate the wind using different shot power and angle values. Like all my animated screenshots, roughly the speed of 15mhz.

This screenshot demonstrates the newer loading screen (with a loading bar), drawing of the landscape from the center of the screen, the death message, and with the as-of-tonight second tank on the screen, Tankies is another big step closer to being finished.

Awesome DarkAuron ... 2 tanks is sweet :). The speed this game runs at is very impressive.

Ha! I love how the other tank just falls off the mountain! You'll have to figure out some way to prevent that from happening.

The tank that fell off was controlled by me :) You can die if you fall off the landscape, or you can die if you get damaged enough. The other tank is just a vegetable right now, heh. Not for long though..
