test (and post) your speeds!

ok, so I'm sure all of you have seen the speed test at

BUT, I was wondering how fast you guys were on it!
there's my speeds while I'm here at clayton state college. Normally it's about 3500Kb/s upload, and 1,500 upload.
BUT, my lappy decided to connect to three routers at the same time... and I got the speeds mentioned above!
hmm... I've always thought having more then one connection would be much faster, seems I'm right, it's just, I've never been able to acomplish it before! Seems having a few routers on the same line must either trick the main server into giving you more bandwidth, or just give you multiple streams of data...
