There's an old Dutch saying that states silence in a dialogue means agreement.

when did I say that i am obsessed with dead stuff, necro is a latin derivitive of verb neco, "I kill"...of course, as there is a candy called necos I didn't want to go with that. Course, there is a dumb --- wangster who calls himself it to, so I think I may need to change my nick.

or maybe i should just change to "necro games"...hmm, google has confirmed my choice.

Call me crazy but I see a relation between death and killing, thus you did little to dislodge any theories about your supposed obsession with dead things or not.

necro can also be short for "necromancer", which can also stand for "dark wizard". "Dark Wizard" is not always associated with "death", only sometimes, when they get angry at people calling them obsessed with death and turn them into skeletons that slowly rot away into oblivion *looks at hop* ...

BTW, kv83, you didn't even release any part of the game yet, did you? And Nintendo is sueing you $ 150,000 for something you didn't even release? :?

o/t I like the way Nintendo wants everyone to believe they are innocent:
Now before you go get all mad at Nintendo for attacking something non-profit and supports and educational machine, you must remember that they did you the Metroid liscense without permission.
what license? I don't remember any license. IMO, Nintendo just wants money... o/t

I've been to Oblivion but all I got was this lousy shirt.
what license?
That would be the exact problem if this was a real copyright issue.

well... in fact it is a realy copyright issue, since we are legally not allowed to code anything with the name "Metroid" near it :P Nintendo doesn't care for a 1bit calculator though ;)

@Delnar; Nope, but it's not my game anyway. sic (Joe P) wrote it. I have the sourcecode though ... can play it whenever I want (muahaha)

And yes, that particular game has been finished for quite some time .

*Delnar_Ersike looks at the locked Metroid forum and cries. Although the game isn't really finished, is it? *wonders*

Oh, and BTW, if Nintendo is so obsessed about cracking down on Calculator games, they should visit ticalc, for it has tons of games called "Metroid", "Zelda", and "Mario". Maybe they will run out of paper, then. :P

They aren't obsessed about it, it was an April Fool's Day joke from 2 or so years ago.
