I think that's part of Nintendo's plan. Also, wii boxing was just a small showcase of what the Wii can do. Future games will probably be better than wii sports or Zelda.

Too bad at this point that only Nintendo knows how to connect players over the internet on the Wii. So until they give third parties that info, only Nintendo games will be over the internet. :(

Im sorry but nintendo's online services are crappy, who the hell wants friend codes....

Hell even that new pokemon game isn't using the built in friend codes you have to use its own friend codes. Thats wiitarded.

Whats wrong with friend codes? Its an easy way to track people. Works on DS just fine.

@Jim E: That's because the Pokémon game is just more or less an add-on for the DS games... it's using the (old) DS-service, which needs you to have a seperate code for every game... you can even play with the Wii-game against people playing the DS-game.

Locaiton-based RL weather in videogames has been done and it isn't as exciting as it sounds.

Such as that one GBA game that required you to play in the sun in order to power your weapons (god, I can't remember the name, but I spent over 5 hours playing it :( ).

Boktai, yup. There is even a Boktai 2 and a DS-version is in development, which uses a "virtual sun" :P ... it's quite a fun game I heard.

I got the wii browser, its pretty good.

Too bad it doesnt do Java, and that it's pretty lowres.
It also doesnt have an enter button.. makes it hard to submit stuff in forms that dont have a submit button.. doh (cgi irc). And its pretyt hard to read on the TV.
I'm really hoping for USB keyboard support, Java and a good IRC client..

Even if it did, would you want it?

The Wii isn't particularly known for it's graphics :D
