It's been a while

Hello y'all!

I've been gone a lot longer than I anticipated, my new education is keeping me pretty occupied and I've been really busy in the "real life" the last few months. But the last few weeks I started to miss the simplicity of calculator programming, I got more and more curious to see how you're all doing and what's up with all the brilliant projects, and couldn't keep myself from brainstorming about the CLAP... So... I'm back! :) Or kinda at least.

So please do tell me, how are things here? What have I missed? What are the brilliant new projects that I should check out? I'm really sorry, but I really don't have the kind of time to read through this entire forum  (<< missed him too ;))

I'll continue to the CLAP topic now to vent a few thoughts of mine :)

(By the way, sorry for screwing up the Summer of 2006 release spree by being absent. Did anyone do anything for it?)

Heya Timendus, good to see you're putting life first, an important move.

You should be able to find any new projects near the top of the 'Announce Your Projects' forum. There are a few newies, but overall you havent missed heaps.

MaxCoderz also celebrated its 5 year anniversary! :). It took forever for us to get organised properly though ... you can find more about it here:

Im not sure how the release spree went, i dont think it ended up being too crazy :(.

Hi, I saw your name at the bottom of the screen and wondered where you'd got to. ;)

Release spree sort of backfired for me - I have a stupid amount of work at the moment, so no time for calc work :(

well, there have been some new projects recently. Nights into dreams, Strategic conquest, and Dark Resurrection(for TI89). Also, there is a group of programmers from a few sites working on starcraft.

Oh, and yeah, if you wait too long, you may find that there are no more trophies. Me and someone else here are collecting them, and soon we will have a monopoly, and use it to rule the forum! *evil laugh*

In case you hadn't noticed, 50 of the 100 tr1p1ea originally put up have already been sold, and there are still 4 of the 7 days remaining.

Heh, you're SO right unfortunately :)

I'm not sure if I've posted anything about it yet, but I switched to a bit easier level of education (still in computer science though) because I just couldn't motivate myself enough to work through all the boring stuff. The idea was that if the boring stuff would be easier, I wouldn't have to do anything for it, hence not requiring much motivation. Strangely though, motivation seems to have come with the deal :) So lately I haven't done much else besides erm... working :P

It's nice to be back though, I missed the awful calculator related humour and stuff ;)

Bought a trophy by the way 8)

Hey,

i guess I didn't do much for the Summer of 2006 release spree event myself. I have a EM version that is rather stable, but I decided not to release it yet, since I want to use the new MAU to distribute it :)
