@gimpy, i do not know about the AP tests, i do know the ACT will not allow the 89 though, it also does not allow the AFX, but the FX1.0 (litterally identical to the AFX) is allowed because it "doesnt have a CAS" ;) ;) . Casio's were a nightmare to program, now they arnt :) , the AFX turned...

fastRPL isnt quite as java-like as MLC, but its probably better for an 83 user for the moment if you like RPL :)

Maybe the ClassPad 300 touch screen doesnt like darkness :mrgreen: actually, its not my classpad, its my CFX and AFX, the classpad only has problems if you enter the hidden dev menu and start pressing buttons (you can permanently kill it), but otherwise you can almost never lose your RAM on the CP ...

lol, well, that one thing Casio has on TI's... my ram only resets by pure chance when i put my calc in my pocket without its cover (its odd, but every time i do that it at least enters the program menu and deletes all my programs...)

agreed, on casiocalc we didnt allow it for the longest time, and as a result we have ~200 1 or 0 time posters :(

guest posting can be anoying... but it drives admin nuts to see empty user accounts filling up the member list (well.. me at least)
