Just a thought: I saw the PI background program by Benryves at ticalc.org ( http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/274/27493.html ) and noticed that you can do anything with your calc during it's runtime. I was wondering if a multitaksing-based gray lib like the pi background would be possibl...

Just one little notice: actually Omnimaga contain many games that are not avaliable at calc.org, ticalc.org and calcgames.org and they are hard to find anywhere else. This include my very old french RPG serie known as Illusiat. Right now I have a project on stanby "Illusiat memories" and t...

Now I understand why it takes so long to add files right now. I uploaded Reuben Quest 2 two weeks ago and it still won't show up. Trapped still won't show up too. :(

EDIT: And they no longer accept new files for the moment.

So basically I think it would be better to not have grayscale at all. That way, games will run fast on all calc model and MLC will be easier to complete. You can make good gfx in b&w graphics. Also games will be smaller without grayscale.

Maybe you could only use 3 level grayscale and use the method of using a 64x96 mask switching back and forth pixels that must be gray in the same way than my BASIC grayscale trick. Here is an example of what it does with codex in VTI (notice the pattern): http://omnimaga.earthforge.com/GRAYDEMO.GIF ...

Actually, since my site is now also a casio site I thought it would be a better idea to put it one the server where 90% of the world casio website are hosted.

Omnimaga is back!

Ok, some of you probably remember that my site got deleted 1.5 month ago due to a server pb. Now It's back (fginally). Since the last update was back in november I decided to add new stuff like a project section and a HP/casio archive. For those who didn't got time to visit it, Omnimaga is actually ...

It rocks cuzz it's very active (altough there have been times where Epic Programming Studio was A LOT more active than MC 8) ) and it now looks almost like the main page. Unlike at UTI, there is always new interesting topics everyday and most of them are calculator related.

I worked out all the bugs in the collision detection, and have got the second layer masked sprites working. Now I just need to write the algorithmn to detect whether you're approaching from in front or behind the object. I also set up Zelda-style scrolling, where it smooth-scrols the entire screen ...

I'll ask him, but he's online like once per two weeks so this might take a long while before he reply. I saved the pic on my computer in case it go down. Of course mine have to be inverted so I might have to mod them a bit.
