I dunno how text would really work in such small a space. I think your better off just leaving it blank, I'll try to get more sprites done tonight, the solution you suggested with transparent sprites is nice.

I agree,unit indication would be hard to fit in such a small area.Dang,after i converted the sprites into 12*12's,I've changed my mind on sprite size! i'd recommend going for the 8*8s.I hope to have more converted to both 8*8's and 12*12's by l8ter this evening :D btw,as for unit idication,you could always just leave it 2 player,and then the way the unit faces tells the team :)

it should look very nice on the calc,even if the pics are a bit large :) The 1 hard thing i have to ask you compwiz,is what are you planning about different teams in AW? Different colors?

i think he wants grayscale :D i believe the other AW project was in b+w. well i've decided to carry this project on.So far, i have the Sprite Tutorial Done and working on Tilemap Tutorial.I'm writing it in Notepad, and plan on tifreak8x helping me convert to html :) I really hope to be of some use,and the plan is the same as origional.If there is any section anyone would...

sorry about that, i didn't really know anyone used the 16*16 tilemapper, ever since JFISH came out with FATE, i figured most people would use 8*8, plus no one ever mentions it in their project, once again sorry :(

ooooh, that would be nice! please release it :) I would also scratch the 16*16 tilemapper, not many people have found a use for it :( Matrix format is fine, but i they do get a little on the large side, *points at metroid2's map data, it'd be cool if you somehow inplemented a compressor + decompress...
